Are you a dedicated child psychologist passionate about helping children and families? Quirky Kid is seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team on a contractual basis.

Position is Available either in Sydney or Wollongong

About Us

Since 2007 Quirky Kid has grown to be a leading child psychology clinic known for its innovative, playful, and creative approach. We are committed to delivering top-tier mental health services to children and their families, leveraging technology to enhance our practice in a welcoming child-friendly environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions for children and adolescents.
  • Develop and implement personalised case plans to address various mental health issues.
  • Conduct effective individual and group therapy sessions for children.
  • Offer guidance, support and practical strategies for families to enhance outcomes for young people.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including educators, paediatricians and allied health professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with industry standards.
  • Create and present webinars for the QK audience showcasing your expertise.

Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration as a psychologist.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development, psychological intervention and assessment tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
