Quirky Kid at Frankfurt Book Fair

Building on the success of our previous presentations at the Chinese Children Book Fair (2015) and the London Book Fair (2016), and with the support of the Australian Publishers Association; Quirky Kid is excited to attend the 2017 Frankfurt Book Fair once again.

About the Frankfurt Book Fair

As the world’s largest trade fair for books, the Frankfurt Book Fair is an international hub of industry experts and is the most important marketplace for books, media, rights and licences in the world. This annual event sees representatives from book publishing and multimedia companies from all over the world come together to:

  • Discover new trends and business areas.
  • Profit from the best opportunities for further learning, training, and networking.
  • Get to know decision makers from across the book, creative and technology industries.
  • Gain new inspiration, and tap into new target groups.

Quirky Kid in Action

We love broadening and strengthening our skill sets and learning more about publishing from leading industry experts. Our attendance at this event is a great way to spread the positive Quirky Kid messages, and promote our evidence-based therapeutic tools, such as The Best of Friends®, BaseCamp® and PowerUp™  to a wide audience.

Our resources are currently sold globally including in Canada, the USA and Singapore. Weare keen to expand their reach to more markets and improve more children’s lives through our engaging and innovative educational developmental programs.

This year we  joined the Australian Publishers Association collective stand to showcase the Quirky Kid Resources during the Frankfurt book fair (9 to 13th of October) It’s the second year we attend this fair and we really like it.

The Frankfurt Book Fair is a meeting place for the industry’s experts and the most important marketplace for books, media, rights and licences worldwide. 7307 Exhibitors from 97 countries make Frankfurt the international hub of the publishing world and we love learning a lot about publishing.  It was estimated that 6.300 people visited the Australian Collective stand. Our resources are now distributed in Canada, USA and Singapore and we are really keen to expand their reach to more markets.

Quirky Kid has a lot of new resources under development and we are keen to create a big impact in the child/families emotional and social publishing sector.  You can find out more about The Quirky Kid Resources on our website or at our publishing page.

Leonardo Rocker, the Quirky Kid Practice Manager,  will be attending  the Frankfurt book fair, in Germany, from the 14th  to 18th of October 2009 as a trade visitor. This is a major step towards promoting and expanding our resources.

We aim to promote our new therapeutic resources for children as well as explore new tendencies in print and digital media. We have already set several meetings with interested parties to explore rights acquisition and sale.

Our aim as a publishing house is to combine our clinical expertise with our innovations in effective therapeutic resources to ensure parents and teachers have the best materials to support children and adolescents. We also aim to share our services and environmentally sound resource packs to both developed and developing countries with ongoing support and communication (Our team love opportunities for remote travel!).

We aim to develop the most sought after and effective therapeutic resources in the world.
