The Likes of Youth Kit (LoY) has been developed to help boys (10–16 years) through the often turbulent transition to young adulthood.

With an emphasis on self-awareness and coping strategies, The Likes of You{th} Kit empowers young boys to improve their social and emotional well-being through collaborative activities and discussion of themes such as Authority and Rebellion, Motivation and Depression, Confidence and Participation, Freedom and Scape, Girls, Rumours and Sexuality, Self Esteem and Style, etc.

The illustrations are unique and poignant, inspired by imagery common to music and popular youth culture. Their contemporary style is non-patronizing and therefore highly appealing and accessible to a broad spectrum of individuals and groups. In addition to the Picture Cards, the LoY Kit includes 24 Question Cards to further inspire dialogue.

Educators, therapists and those working with youth are encouraged to use the Kit in their work with young males to provide them with a forum for the discussion of common social and emotional struggles experienced in early adolescence. The Kit can be used with individuals and in group forums such as classrooms, youth groups or seminars.
