The Best of Friends® is an evidence-based and multi-award-winning social and emotional learning program (SEL) developed by Quirky Kid that is now used by dozens of schools and clinics around the world.

St Joseph's Catholic Primary School situated in the southern Mallee, a region in the north west of the state of Victoria, Australia is an inclusive community of faith and learning with Christ at its centre. By adopting The Best of Friends® program, St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is committed to it’s mission to cater for the varied learning styles and needs of their students while supporting their development as a whole person and provide a curriculum which challenges all students in their pursuit of success.
How The Best of Friends® program will be implemented at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School
The Best of Friends® program was launched at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in 2025 and is closely supported by our team of facilitators. Each participant will receive a copy of the exclusive workbook developed by Quirky Kid. To offer students the necessary support, facilitators and parents will have access to an extensive range of information, manuals and regular supervision as required.
To ensure appropriate evaluation, each child and group will complete psychometric testing of their social and emotional skills before and after The Best of Friends® program to measure the outcome of the intervention. Evaluation and monitoring is an important component of the program.
We look forward to working closely with St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in enhancing their students' wellbeing!
