We are excited to welcome Here Collective situated in the leafy suburb of Acton, ACT to our Best of Friends® program.
The Best of Friends® is an evidence-based and multi-award-winning social and emotional learning program (SEL) developed by Quirky Kid that is now used by dozens of schools and clinics around the world.
About Here Collective
The Here Collective clinic's approach is to provide a setting that is compassionate and non-judgemental using evidenced based theories. The clinic views each client as an individual and finds solutions using their own interests, beliefs and personalities.
The Here Collective clinicians are extremely passionate and knowledgable about the development of strategies and interventions to enable children to reach their full potential in the home, school and community setting. They are experts in wellbeing of the brain and focus on social and emotional wellbeing through mindfulness.
By adopting The Best of Friends® program, Here Collective is committing to enhance each individual clients social and emotional wellbeing through understanding and developing each clients needs. We are amazed by the clinic's passion and commitment to the development of each student and cannot wait to work with their team to deliver our program.
How The Best of Friends® program will be implemented at Here Collective
The Best of Friends® program has launched at Here Collective in 2022 and is being closely supported by our team of facilitators. Each participant will receive a copy of the exclusive workbook developed by Quirky Kid. To offer clients the necessary support, facilitators and parents will have access to an extensive range of information, manuals and regular supervision as required.
To ensure appropriate evaluation, each client and group will complete psychometric testing of their social and emotional skills before and after The Best of Friends® program to measure the outcome of the intervention. Evaluation and monitoring is an important component of the program.
