Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development III
The Bayley Scales of Infant Development (Bayley-III) are recognised internationally as one of the most comprehensive tools to assess children from as young as one month old. This assessment allows the psychologist to obtain detailed information about a child’s functioning, even in regards to non-verbal children.
Children are assessed in the five key developmental domains of cognition, language, social-emotional, motor and adaptive behaviour.
The Bayley-III can also be used to track your child’s progress as they grow or to assess the effectiveness of an intervention program. It identifies infant and toddler strengths and competencies, as well as their weaknesses, and provides a valid and reliable measure of a child’s abilities.
If you believe your infant or toddler may require a developmental assessment, please contact us to arrange an appointment.
