Media Experience

The Quirky Kid Clinic provides the media with commentary and advice on child, adolescent and family related issues.

We have recently collaborated with ABC2 and with Cartoon Network to develop a survey to find the top 10 ‘tween’ girls, as part of the Gwen 10 campaign.

Kimberley has also taken a spoken person role.  Kimberley O’Brien enjoys working as a Child Psychologist while sharing the best of her therapeutic moments with the media. She has been combining her two passions for more than a decade – talking to kids and contributing to TV, radio and print media. Kimberley currently consults for Channel 7 and Channel 9 and has previously enjoyed the role of Guest Presenter on “Girl TV”, providing savvy solutions with illustrated strategies in response to viewers’ letters.

Private corporations such as  Cartoon Network, Telstra, Toyota, Coles Group, Procter & Gamble (Duracell) and Colgate Palmolive have also sought suggestions and endorsements from Kimberley in regard to their child-friendly products.

According to Kimberley, the media offers an opportunity to reach people in a fun and fast-paced way. Including children in a dialogue is a community approach to good communication and valuing the contribution of youth.
